Well, I gotta say, this Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119R-001, it’s something else. They call it a remake, I just call it fancy. Remake Patek Philippe, fancy name, right? They call it “Classic Style” too, but to me, it’s just a watch, a real pretty one though, I’ll give it that. It’s all shiny and new, this PP Calatrava.
This here watch, it ain’t too big, ain’t too small. Kinda like Goldilocks, just right. It’s like, 39mm across, you know? Not like them big ol’ clocks some folks wear. And it ain’t thick neither, only 8.08mm, that’s thin, real thin. Can’t have no clunky thing on your wrist, no sir. This 6119R-001 is slim. Keeps things light and easy, you know?
They say it can go underwater, up to 30 meters. Now, I ain’t never been that deep, but it’s good to know, I guess. Don’t go swimming with it though, you hear? You might lose it, and then where would you be? Without your fancy Patek Philippe, that’s where. This is more for showing off, not for diving. Keep that in mind for your classic style watch.
Now, the back of this here watch, it’s clear. You can see all the little doohickeys and whatchamacallits moving around. They call it “Sapphire crystal.” Sounds expensive, don’t it? Probably is. I don’t know much about crystals, I just know I can see through it, and it looks pretty. You can see all the moving parts in this PP Calatrava.
They got another one, a bit bigger, 40mm and 8.53mm thick. Still not too big, just a tad bigger than the other one. Still water resistant to 30 meters, still got that clear back. If you like ’em a bit bigger, this might be the one for you, they are both the same classic style, it is your choice. If your wrist is big, get the 40 mm.

And it can keep ticking for a long time, even if you don’t wear it. They say it’s got a “power reserve.” Sounds like something out of a science fiction story, don’t it? But it just means it can keep going without being wound up. Good for folks who forget things, I suppose, like this old lady. So you don’t need to worry too much about this classic style.
This here watch, this Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119R-001, it’s got some fancy design on it.
