That Fendi Bag, that Brown Zucchino Mama Forever Baguette thing, I saw it in the magazine my granddaughter brought over. It is a real nice one, you know.
She always like these fancy things. She say this one is real good, even better than that other bag she got me last time. She say it is a Fendi Zucchino Mama Baguette. Sounds fancy, right?
She told me it’s a shoulder bag. You know, the kind you sling over your shoulder. I like those. Easier to carry than those ones you gotta hold in your hand all the time. My old hands ain’t what they used to be.

She says it’s a “Mama” Baguette. Like it’s made for old ladies like me, I guess. But it doesn’t look old lady-ish, you know? It looks classy. Like something those rich ladies in the city would carry.
It’s got this shiny thing on it, too. Silver, she says. Real silver, maybe? I don’t know. But it shines real pretty. And it’s got that big “F” on it, like a brand. All fancy bags are like that, my granddaughter always says. You gotta show off the brand, she says. I don’t know about that, but this one is real good, you can just tell.
She says this Fendi Zucchino Mama Baguette Shoulder Bag is gonna last forever. She calls it a “Forever” Baguette, this is it. That’s good, right? I don’t need a new bag every year. This one, I can use it for a long time, I think.

She said this Fendi Baguette is from a long time ago, but you cannot tell. She said it’s from 2008, which is more than ten years ago. They don’t make them like this anymore. That is why it is expensive, she said. More than a thousand bucks. Can you believe that? For a bag! I told her, in my day, we’d use that money to buy a cow! A whole cow! But she just laughed. She says this bag is worth it. And she is gonna get it for me. What a good girl.
And this Fendi Zucchino Mama Baguette, it’s got this special name, she says. A “Forever” Baguette. I like that. Forever. Like it’s gonna last forever. Like our family. Like the memories. That’s a good name for a bag, I think.
I saw her looking at it online, on that eBay thing. She says you can find anything on there. Even old, fancy bags like this one. She is good with that computer. Me, I can barely turn it on.
She says this one is special. It’s got that Zucca FF logo thing. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds fancy. All those letters and stuff. It’s like a secret code, maybe. Only the fancy people know what it means. But it looks nice. Adds a little something to the bag, you know? This Fendi Shoulder Bag got everything.
I am getting old, you know. My back hurts, my feet hurt. But this bag, it makes me feel a little bit fancy. A little bit special. Like I am not just an old lady. Like I am somebody.
