This here watch, they call it Patek Philippe PP Calatrava 5227R-001, is somethin’ else. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market, sayin’ it’s a real fancy piece, just like them watches in the big official store. Now, I ain’t never been to one of them fancy stores, but I seen pictures. This one, they say it’s a remake, whatever that means. But it looks just as good, I tell ya.
They say this watch is 39 mm big. That’s like, well, bigger than a quarter, I reckon. And it ain’t too thick neither, only 9.24 mm. That’s thinner than my old biscuit cutter! You can even get it wet, up to 30 meters. Don’t go dunkin’ it in the well, though, that’s just askin’ for trouble. And get this, the back is clear, like them fancy windows, so you can see all the little doohickeys inside. But it’s got a cover, like a little door, so it don’t get all dusty.
They got this thing inside called a “Cal. 30-255”. Sounds like somethin’ out of a science book. They say it’s got 27 jewels. Now, I ain’t no jewelry expert, but that sounds like a lot. This thingy is 30.4 mm wide and only 2.55 mm thick. It goes tick-tock real fast, 28,800 times every hour. I can barely count that high! And it keeps goin’ for at least 66 hours without you doin’ nothin’. That’s longer than I can go without a nap these days!
Now I also heard that Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227R-001 is good for any collection. I don’t know about collection, I only collect eggs from my hens, but this watch must be really good.
Another thing, this Patek Philippe watch, it winds itself! Can you believe it? They call it “automatic self-winding”. It’s got somethin’ inside called a “caliber 324 movement”, and it’s all shiny like my Sunday shoes. They say it’s got 29 jewels, too, and some kind of shock thingy. I reckon that means it won’t break if you drop it, but I wouldn’t try it.
- This Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227R-001, it’s a fancy one.
- Lots of folks talkin’ ’bout it.
- They say it’s just like the ones in the official store.
- It’s a remake, but looks just as good.
Now, this here Patek Philippe 5227R-001, it ain’t cheap. Some folks say you can find it for $44K, whatever that means. Sounds like a lot of money to me. More than I ever spent on anythin’, that’s for sure. But they say it’s a good deal, and you can get free shippin’. I don’t know about shippin’, but free is always good.
This Patek Philippe Calatrava, they say it’s “pre-owned”. That means someone else had it before. But it’s from 2021, so it ain’t that old. They say it’s real elegant and timeless. I don’t know ’bout that, but it sure looks nice. It’s 39 mm, just like I said before. And they say it’s in stock. That means they got it, I guess.
I also heard it called “Calatrava Men’s – 5227R”. They got it in some fancy store, this “Patek Philippe” place. They say it’s a good one, this model. Whatever that means. Sounds fancy, though.
This Patek Philippe thing, the “caliber 324 S C”, it goes tick-tock real fast, 28,800 times an hour, just like the other one. And it’s made of 217 parts! Can you imagine? That’s more parts than my old tractor!
They been makin’ these Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227R-001 since 2013, that is more than 10 years ago. They say it’s a “modern interpretation”. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds fancy. It’s 39 mm and rose gold. That’s a pretty color, like my old rose bush.
- This watch, it’s got a brown strap, made of alligator skin.
- It winds itself, that’s somethin’.
- They say it costs 38, whatever that means. Sounds like a lot of money.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about this Patek Philippe PP Calatrava 5227R-001 watch. It’s a real fancy piece, that’s for sure. If you got the money, I guess it’s a good thing to have. But me, I’ll stick to my old pocket watch. It may not be fancy, but it tells the time just fine, and that’s all that matters to me. And I don’t need to know about all them fancy words like “official flagship store”. I am happy with what I have got.
